The 10th Year of the Arab Spring Webinar

On the 14th of June, 2021, ELTE Contemporary Arab World Center and the PPCU Department of Public International Law organized a joint webinar on the intersections of Arab Studies and International Law. The exciting international and interdisciplinary analysis about the Arab Spring and its effects was divided into two sessions - the first one concentrating more on the political and social effects, while the second on the legal ones. It is important to mention, that the webinar wasn't restricted to the questions about the Middle East, but the Arab world as a whole, including the MENA region. The webinar overcame all expectations. The issues are very different and of course, not every issue could have been addressed in such a short time. Especially, because the events of the Arab Spring had an impact on countries that have not individually suffered it, but were involved.
